The Montague was a cosy, elegant and friendly base for my trip to London. The staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Megan explained the company policy is to make women traveling by themselves comfortable in a room overlooking the garden, away from the lift and quite spacious. The restaurant serves beautiful food and the bar has a pianist in the early evening. The location is perfect for exploring, just 10 mins walk from the theatre district and Covent Garden and lots of transport options. If you walk to the end of the street, you will find Russell Sq. There is a lovely Italian Cafe where I had breakfast under the trees. Thank you Megan, Sebastian and Georgia for making my stay special.

And, most importantly, the food. Make sure to go and invite friends or sit solo and enjoy the great love and care they put into their menu, spirits and wine. Start a conversation and you'll quickly realize it's love for these things that makes the place what it is. And a lot of determination of course. If I lived in London this would be a regular spot for me. Checks all the boxes.

Sonder Camden Road se bucură de o locație excelentă în cartierul Camden din Londra, la 18 minute de mers pe jos de Camden Market, la 1,9 km de Teatrul King's Cross și la 2,6 km de Stadionul Emirates. Ridiculously good value. The location is fantastic, walking distance to Kentish town and Camden lock. Also there's a bus stop right across the road with many connections or the underground is a 15 minute walk (Piccadilly line). Although no breakfast is included, there is a mini-fridge and a kettle in the room. The room was actually quite spacious and the bed definitely comfortable for 2 people. For some reason I thought this place wouldn't have any staff, however there was always someone at the reception.

Hatton Garden Hotel se bucură de o locație excelentă în cartierul Camden din Londra, la 19 minute de mers pe jos de Royal Opera House, la 1,7 km de British Museum și la 1,9 km de Stația de metrou... pretul a fost mult mai mic fata de restul cazarilor. am cerut si mi-au oferit un transformator pentru priza, toate prizele fiind pe stil englezesc. ventilatie silentioasa, baie curata si dotata, toate functionale, cana fierbator cu ness si ceai, priveliste frumoasa, birou, saltea confortabila nu foarte moale, receptie non stop foarte amabila si ajutatoare

I recently had another fantastic stay at The Z Hotel Holborn, booking through Booking.com this time, thanks to a great discount they offered. I often switch hotels in London based on price and location, but The Z Hotel Holborn consistently outshines the rest. Its prime location is unbeatable, surrounded by cafes, attractions, and restaurants. Plus, the Holborn metro station is just a 5-minute walk away, making transportation, including airport commutes, a breeze. One standout feature is the hotel's secure gate, which locks after 11 PM, ensuring safety and security, accessible only to guests with an access card. While I hope they'll consider adding a safe box in the future, the current amenities are impressive. The staff's hospitality is truly commendable, always welcoming and helpful. Their cozy lobby is a great spot to grab food and drinks. My previous stay was in a quiet room on the 7th floor, which requires a stair climb from the 6th floor as there's no elevator access to the top floor. The 7th floor's advantage is its tranquility and minimal number of rooms. This year, I was pleasantly surprised with room 702 - a spacious and unique two-floor room. The lower level houses the shower room, toilet, and a changing area, while the upper level is dedicated to a comfortable sleeping space. This room has now become my absolute favorite, marking it as my top choice for all future London visits. Its size and quietness make it a perfect urban retreat.
