Situated right in front of Yamashita Park and looking out to the Yokohama Bay, Hotel New Grand is a renowned classic hotel with nearly a century of first-class hospitality. We loved this hotel. Amazing staff, really helpful and kind. Incredible location, great view, very comfortable room.

There was complimentary coffee in a lounge area off reception after 3 pm. The hotel was located within walking distance to the Cruise Terminal

This appears to be a new hotel and the construction is very solid and soundproof.They have three panes of glass so you can’t hear outside noise and didn’t hear any other guest . Probably the best part of the room was the extremely comfortable mattress and pillows one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on . They have a nice reception area where you can get free coffee and tea and sit and relax. Overall the hotel is very modern and stylish The location is perfect in the centre of Yokohama walk south 15 minutes you are at the main shopping area walk north 15 minutes and you are in China town and only a ten minute walk to the harbour The cost is very reasonable would stay again

It gave you the option of a breakfast/dinner buffet with a large variety, or you could go to the other restaurants inside of the hotel. Either that or you could buy food at the convenience store located inside of the hotel. Plus, the spa of artificial thermal waters and massage relaxes your whole body. It's just the perfect hotel for vacations. Plus, the surroundings of the hotel gave you a lot of options, such as going for a walk at the bay, going to the fun park with rollercoasters, shopping, and more... in other words, this hotel is just in the right spot for all kinds of activities.
