Location is great, less than 10 minutes to the old town. Staff is extremely kind and accommodating, sharing lots of information on the history of the property and their experiences. The room is quite large and has a beautiful view of the old town walls. Coffee and tea in the room is always a plus. We opted to have dinner at the property the evening we stayed and it was incredible. 5 courses and paired wine, I couldn't recommend this more if you visit. Breakfast was included and also delicious. I would absolutely stay here again if we return.

This little apartment is in a perfect location. It's on a side street that's a cul de sac. When you come out the door, if you turn right, you walk into the old castle full of lovely little street with cafes, restaurants, and shops. If you turn left, there is a beautiful walk along a canal/river bank. Everything is within walking distance. I took 2 taxis while I was here. 1 from train station to apartment for Eur11 and 1 to the airport for Eur22.00. Both fares were about right for distance travelled. The apartment was easy to access, key left in a lock box, there are a few steps (approx 8 to 10)inside the door leading up to the apartment door, but they are easy to manage. The furniture is very comfortable, especially the sofa and armchair.. The shower is excellent. Good supply strength and plenty of hot water on demand. The mattress and pillows were tops for comfort. The old bridge is a 4 minute walk. I wasn't mad about the new yown or the square. There wasn't much to do or see in the area. The canal and old city were the best spots. Really enjoyed the boat trip on the canal. Worth every penny. Didn't need to rent a bike. Maybe next time. The two little cakes on arrival were perfect touch. Also the additional supplies, rice, pasta, salt, spices, oil, tea and coffee. Thank you. I highly recommend and would stay here again without hesitation.

Hosts were wonderful. She made a delicious 4-course gourmet dinner for the guests. Beautiful pool for a hot day. Short drive to medieval village. Very peaceful. Stylish decor. Very warm and welcoming.

Villa Carcassone is like little paradise in otherwise busy town. The green garden and friendly service made our short stay a real pleasure. It was awesome to have secure parking on site. Thanks Juliette for your hospitality - if we are ever in the area again we will definitely be back :)
