Fantastic bed and breakfast in the epicentre of lovely Cartmel. Communication with Rachel prior to arrival was perfect. The hotel is beautiful, both the public areas and the room in which we stayed. The room, recently re-decorated, is as comfortable as it is beautiful. Modern bathroom, super comfrotable bed, tea kettle/espresso machine - who needs more? Breakfast was stellar, be it the full English or the continental. We'll be delighted to come back and we thank Rachel for making our weekend in Cartmel special!

They serve a very tasty English breakfast in a wonderful vintage dining room that overlooks the meadows and fields and they really know how to cook their eggs. If the weather is nice make sure to get a drink at the bar and sip it on the bench outside while watching the sunset.

Not to miss the Sunset view. The room we had was at the back of the hotel in the traditional cottage type with shared lounge with the other room.
