A traditional Cotswolds inn dating back to the 14th century, the Eight Bells in Chipping Campden has a selection of individually styled en suite guest rooms. As well as free Wi-Fi, this inn has a high-quality restaurant and bar with a terraced garden as well as a courtyard drinking area.

We loved how characterful it was. The breakfasts which were included are second to none. The staff were so attentive and kind, ensuring we had everything we could possibly want or need. The owner visited with us, and ended up not only securing us a Cotswolds tour, but one that agreed to take our luggage and drop us at our next destination. I would highly recommend this inn.

It was spacious, large comfy bed, quiet, in keeping with the beautiful farm surroundings and well equipped (right down to a cafetiére for real coffee, not just pods!). We absolutely loved the setting, the absolute care for nature and our lab loved too, walks in the big field and yonder. The mezzanine area is a boon too.

Good location, spoke to the owner Ann, very pleasant lady made us feel very welcome. Outside garden furniture was a bonus with the lovely weather we were blessed with. Kitchen was well equipped, took us a bit of time but master the hob/cooker. Also handy place to the Morrison shop. Beds were extremely comfortable. Overhaul a very pleasant stay.. Nice suprise with the treats left and had great fun in the games room.

The location is spot on and whilst right on the High Street, the soundproofing is effective and rooms to the rear feel like in an oasis anyway. The Tourist information is a stones throw away, it is unfunded now, so we supported that with a few guide purchases and the local knowledge in them was worth every penny; the gentle walk through the church and pasture land with the lambs was helped by glorious sunshine but it helped walk off some of the glorious breakfast, cooked to order, with care, and quality ingredients.

Our first room was a little small but the staff were extremely helpful and, as the hotel wasn't fully booked, allowed us to swap rooms. Our new room was excellent with two bay windows and a large bed. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was excellent! I had duck and my husband the steak and kidney pudding. Both were delicious but next time I would definitely have a pudding! Breakfast was self-service and perfectly adequate.

We were visiting for a family wedding nearby so the location was great and set in a nice little village. We were a group of 10 and the staff very kindly set up tables for us to have dinner and breakfast together. They were also very kind and helpful when asking for stuff for our 5 month old baby. the full English breakfast was very nice and we enjoyed the outdoor seating area.

Perfect base for a large family vacation in the Cotswolds. Only a few minutes walk via roads or farm fields from gorgeous Chipping Campden. Well arranged inside with a large communal space with kitchen, living and dining areas and then 4 good bedrooms, each with en-suite. The adapted facilities were exactly what was required but it would also suit anyone. The host Michael was very helpful and good to deal with. Plenty of space for 2 cars. We would happily return.

Spacious, completely kitted out with everything, including welcome breakfast foods, board games and bbq coal for an evening “cookout”. So convenient to the high street in Chipping Campden, with literally everything on your doorstep. We thoroughly enjoyed it as a family of 4, including 2 kids (9 and 11). Fantastic base to enjoy loads of walks and eating out or in! Lovely secluded garden and terrace to enjoy chilling out in the sun, especially in the evening.
