Great location and view from the room (Lake room), cozy interior and brilliant set up with tea and coffee in the room (I mean almond milk in sticks - very thoughtful!). Overall great experience- probably our best stay in the Lakes so far.

House was perfectly located just outside the village. It had everything we needed including towels and was very clean and comfortable. Was pleasantly surpised with the great water pressure aswell.

The location in the middle of Grasmere was ideal. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable, and we appreciated the use of the parking permit. Lovely hot water for showers! A very pleasant stay.

The location is perfect within walking distance to Allan Bank, restaurants, and a playpark if you stay with children like us. The parking situation is stress-free because you can park right in front of the house. The place is very clean, unlike most dog-friendly places we stayed before. The staff at breakfast and reception are a gem. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

I brought my daughter and her 10 month old baby for our first little break, the staff were so helpful with us from the minute we arrived. Anything we asked they would accommodate and we were never made to feel it was too much. They were so friendly and made us feel at ease there the whole time. It made our first family trip a happy memorable one! We would definitely go back.

We had our own room which was very spacious, clean, warm and quiet. Kids thought it was great we were all in bunk beds. A bonus was to find we could order dinner on our first night which was very convenient after traveling all day. great value for money and a short walk into the village. I would absolutely stay in a YHA hostel again.
