A welcoming, well presented and comfortable hotel. Friendly staff throughout, with an excellent restaurant / bar area. Bonus points for a very good Sunday roast. The family room that we booked was a very good size with joined rooms.

very friendly and welcoming by a family who was helpful and thoughtful of my needs. The property was old and full of character but fully functioning and up to date. The only criticism was the wifi connection kept dropping out otherwise a perfect and delightful stay.

the place is magical, at the first kids were thinking it is a hunted house but after two days of stay they just loved it and felt like home with lots of space. my son’s favourite game was hide and sick which was quite easy to do due to so many different places we could hide. The house is so magical and unique it is hard to describe. if you are still reading you should go and book your self and check no words can describe feeling. we felt in love in this place. thank you.

The owners had thought of everything to make it a home from home: food welcome pack, slippers, bathrobes, fluffy towels plus the normal essentials such as cleaning things, loo roll etc. We stayed in Bluebell which comfortably held a family of 6 and 2 dogs. The lodge itself has a fenced off garden area making it very safe for dogs and toddlers. There was also a fire pit , bbq and hot tub outside. A very relaxing and comfortable break!
