The location was perfect. A very nice area and an easy walk to the sea, town, Torre Abbey (best tourist attraction in Torquay) and train station. The hosts were welcoming. The breakfast was superb, plentiful and tasty. For a single room it was spacious with even room for an armchair and kettle facilities. Cleanliness was exceptional here.

Our room was large ,well lit with a fantastic view of the bay and a balcony extremely comfortable clean and tidy. bathroom was large and fully stocked, We also had a large fridge coffee, tea and biscuits

It was very clean and quiet. Great location to beach and town centre. Literally a 10 minute walk, and while homeward bound is a little up hill l, it’s not that bad. Also a great little pub across the road that does good meals. The ensuite room is on the 3rd floor, but not a big deal, unless you wanted to drag suitcases up. We just took up what we needed for the night. Bed was so fluffy and comfortable, we slept in. Both the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Lovely couple that are doing a great job of hosting. Even though there is no fridge in room, they have one on the landing for guest use.

Everything was excellent, our host, Chris, was a pleasure to meet and couldn’t have been more helpful. The apartment had everything you could possibly need, very comfortable bed and perfect location. Looking forward to returning for another wonderful holiday. Many thanks Chris

I loved everything about Stover Lodge. Matt and Andy are so kind, helpful, and fun to chat with. The room was beautiful and comfortable, breakfast delicious, and replenishing supply of chocolate most welcome.
