This was one of our favorite stops on our recent trip. We all agreed, the beds were comfortable, the showers were hot, and the rest of the amenities were great. Elliott was a great host - giving us some advice about our next stop. Breakfast was delicious. With a pub within walking distance we couldn't ask for a better location.

The welcome pack was really helpful and we loved feeding the birds in the back garden. A perfect cottage for our family of 4 (3 adults and 1 child), lots of room and a super fun games room in the cellar! A 30 second walk to the Co Op for supplies and everything on the doorstep, we didn’t move the car until we left!

I had the radiator on a low setting all night which kept us toasty. Our room was very clean and there were extra pillows, blankets and towels. We had the pool to ourselves which was brilliant. Both dinner and breakfast were fresh and plentiful. This was our second stay and we would definitely book again. Its really good if you have young children as there's plenty of space both inside and outside.

Good location for Beatrix Potter World (9 of us including 3 children). Lovely gardens. The ability to accommodate all 9 of us including in family rooms. There seemed to be a policy of 'all inclusivity' which was nice: welcome to dogs, families of all ages, all nationalities, disability. Nice little pool for the size of the hotel.
