The location is very good, walkable distance from restaurants and village center, where you can find supermarkets and pharmacy. Just take care when walking along the street, there is no sidewalk. The kitchen is well equipped and the washing machine was a nice surprise. In the water there are stones and sea urchins at the beginning, but after first steps there is sand and the water is very good to swim or paddle. The hosts created a path between the stones, that you can take to walk in the water and also provided water shoes.

The apartment was as in the pictures, the bed in the living room, the extendible sofa was comfy, but the bed in the bedroom was horrible, i could feel all the springs in it. The garden was big and very nice with olive trees, and the gate can be closed and the kids could play safe inside. There was a bakery right next door owned also by the same owners. There is parking inside the garden.

We had an amazing time on our first trip to Thasos, Greece! It’s a shame we couldn’t stay longer. The small beach near the marina was perfect for small children. The taverna we tried was excellent, and they even treated us to some delicious on-the-house watermelon. Miss Vicky was delightful and surprised us with local treats like Greek Halva and Loukoumades. On our last day, we faced a car issue, but Mr. Takis came to the rescue at 22:00 and promptly arranged assistance from the local car shop. We can’t wait to return next year, and this time we plan to bring some fishing equipment. A big thanks to everyone who made our stay memorable!
