I stayed in the dorm, which was quite cheap and therefore it exceeded my expextations - it was comfortable, cleaned regularly, there was a common are and they even provided kitchen utensils to cook my own food! :) Speaking of food, there is some available made one of the staff and what I had was delicious (mainly pancakes :9)! The staff is the main thing that made my stay a very pleasant experience - super helpful, friendly and accomodating. :) I definitely recommend this place.

This hotel really met all our needs. The staff was friendly and helpful. We asked them lots of questions and they had good answers. The hotel is hidden between alleys which cars can't go (this is characteristic of Varanasi and part of its charm) but you can call the staff to walk you to the hotel from your taxi when you arrive. The staff also walked us to our car to leave for the airport. We also liked that the there was laundry service. The location is very close to the sights we wanted to see and we able to walk to almost everything. We enjoyed the breakfast that was served. The room was clean and the bathroom was large enough to not feel cramped. There was also a working shower head and toilet paper (which if you are familiar with India, is not necessarily common). The AC was very effective and kept us cool after the hot day. Overall, we were very comfortable here. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is clean, has a great restaurants both inside and outside of the building, all the amenities, Wi-Fi - everything was of a good quality. But what this place shines at is people. Rudra and his team made sure my stay is as smooth and as pleasant as it’s possible. They were always in contact when I needed food, towels, room change or even immensely helpful support with my train. I’m deeply grateful for your support and open heart.

Sona, her guesthouse and wonderful family have been the absolute highlight of my week stay in Varanasi. An ongoing source of joy, a deep well of information, a little Varanasi recommendation when required, the best chai masala in town, and an ever-present smile, it’s a joy to be with her. Sitting still is not part of Sona’s life, she’s always arranging things for her guests, always making their stays even better, or she’s in the kitchen doing her magic. Make sure to eat from the guesthouse’s menu as often as you can, the dishes are delicious and heartwarming. The food is one of the aspects that made me feel home here. The room had all amenities I could wish for, there are many shops and eateries nearby and Assi ghat, the usual southern starting point to explore the river and its ghats, is not even a 10-minutes walk from the guesthouse. Should I return to Varanasi one day, I can only wish Sona and her family have one of their rooms available. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. For now though, I cherish the tea spices Sona prepared for me as a reminder of her hospitality. Above and beyond! Helpful, warm, attentive, capable and service-minded.
