The owner was extremely helpful in providing me with tons of choices about how to travel to Pondicherry, as well as the hotel to book there. I originally had booked a hotel far from the center, thinking that I could travel around easier. He recommended something much closer to the center and for a better price. Overall exceptionally helpful with my travels in South India. Furthermore, breakfast was very tasty and there were options of either an American or an Indian continental breakfast. He also exchanged my currency at a more favorable rate that the previous hotels that I stayed in during this trip to India! Good spot for either solo travelers or groups.
