WOW What a hotel! If you're in Udaipur and want to enjoy a little heavenly Oasis, then you must stay at the Raffles! We went for a wedding so that's the main reason for staying there, but wow we were just impressed by everything. The room (spectacular), the food (delicious), the facilities (amazing), the grounds (beautiful). From the moment you are greeted to get on the boat which takes you to the island where the hotel is to the moment of checkout, the experience was amazing. The staff is super friendly and extremely helpful! Highly recommend all those visiting to at least enjoy an evening or two at this palace.

The hosts have been amazing from check-in to check-out. The location could not be better with all the sightseeing at walking distance. All areas are well-maintained and spot-cleaned. The view from the rooms is just fantastic. Abundant breakfast with two options available, Indian and continental (give it a try to the Indian one!).

The family running the homestay are helpful and make themselves available to help. The owner was helpful in helping me secure a private transit to Jodhpur after the stay with pickups at another hotel my friends were at. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet during night time for a good rest. The location is a 5 minute walk to the center of Old City of very convenient and the rooftop has a great view of the City Palace.
