The location was a short walk to the main piazza, Piazza Del Duomo, the Fish Market, and Via Etnea (main shopping street). Also the Alibus to the airport was a block away. The breakfast was excellent, typical Sicilian breakfast of breads and sweets, with the addition of requesting eggs. Good coffee. Check-in was easy and the hosts were very helpful and friendly.

The location isn't central - but it's very good for those who rent cars, so its easy to get to a highway to start your day trip to Etna or to any other destination. The city center is like 15-20 of drive by car - so it's not a catastrophe either, bottom line.

The apartment was clean and well equipped. We were with two children and we had enough space. There is even a baby chair, which is very handy for travellers with small children. The location is good (probably a little bit noisy, there was a busy street under our window), very close to Ursino palace. There are shops and restaurants nearby. The Piazza Duomo is 5-10 minutes on foot, Piazza Borsellino as well.

Kitchen is really big and it has everything what you would need. Garden is big and it has a lot of shade for hot days. They provide a lot of toys and outside play sets. It is located near the famous Domus Ursino and the other sights. The host provided us with a baby crib and after our arrival at the apartment we could already enjoy an Italian café 😉. However, it should be noted for families with babies that the apartment is located on a busy road that may cause a bit trouble with the evening sleep for those who are not used to it.
