From the moment we arrived, we felt like "Gods" we were treated extremely well, the hotel is stunning, the rooms are amazing. We had a junior suite with a lake view, it was magical. The food was amazing we were on a B&B rate and the breakfast had a great choice. We had dinner there on two nights and again, the food and service were amazing. We took a few "pool" days during our week and ate at the poolside restaurant and once again it was superb.

Breakfast was great, staff friendly, and location fantastic, in the heart of Stresa. Close to the lake, ferry, and downtown. Very walkable location. Only a half of a block to everything.

Super nice big room, fully renovated and very clean. Daniella, the lady in the hotel was so helpful and so friendly and polite. One of the best locations in Stresa with a great lake view. View from terrace was amazing. Rest of the staff very polite with us. This is my first 10!!!!! comment.

Excellent location. It is near to the main square with lots of good restaurants. Only a few minutes wark to the water front also. Nice clean and modern flat. Lovely little balcony overlooking a bustling street during the day which was a very nice spot for breakfast.

The place is so beautiful, we had a lake view room and it was incredible. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, the service is great. Highly recommended. A unique experience to stay on this tiny island, and boats and ferry available at all times.

Wonderful stay. Welcome and hosting was superb. Lovely breakfast on a terrace with knock-out views. Beautiful and tranquil garden (but don't ask about the mosquitos..!). A bit out of Stresa so you def need a car but there is ample parking. Lovely to have a cat on the premises, too! Really would recommend.

What a wonderful place to stay! The owner and his family are so very kind and helpful, the rooms are beautifully furnished and the location couldnt be better. Look forward to returning to the Garden Lodge.
