Everything. Would go back without thinking twice. Good amenities and good host. I traveled with my wife and 2 toddlers and it was a very good experience. We had the room with the double bed and bunkers and it was great. They have a complete kitchen that we used to cook dinner for the kids on a daily basis. They have a nice lounge area, with a good pool.

Ying Yang is ideally located between Comporta and Melides and easily accessible by car. The place is very peaceful, situated in a pine trees forest. We stayed in two different rooms and we liked both a lot. They're beautifully decorated in an eclectic but consistent fashion, the chalets themselves are very nicely crafted and they're very well equipped: air conditioning, kitchen with some electric devices like juice extractor, bathroom with plenty of hot water. The wifi is remarkably fast given that you're in the middle of the forest, a quick speed test gave me 20Mb up / 10Mb down which proved large enough to remote work there. We were really seduced by the attention the owners are giving to details: António was in constant contact with us, explaining the location of the place and how to get to the chalet; when we got there during the evening, lights in the room were on to help us find the way, AC was on, welcoming us with a warm temperature. António is very friendly and he gave us a couple of good addresses to visit and eat nearby.

The setting is magical, surrounded by forest but not far from the sea. The accomodation is a series of cabin-like rooms a short walk into the main lobby/restaurant area. There is a desk & bar area & plenty of cupboard space. The bed & pillows were very comfortable, and the deck & the views to the gardens outside very peaceful. The grounds are beautiful, including a fully labelled herb and vegetable garden. There are 2 pool areas, one for kids which is also a great idea. Transport can be arranged by golf cart to and from the restaurant but we enjoyed the walk. The breakfast was excellent, huge range of choices, and the dinners too, although it was pretty pricey. There is a separate spa centre and its a 10 minute drive into Comporta.

Lovely property, the photos don’t do it justice. Very clean and comfortable. 10 minute cycle to the beach and 5 minute walk to centre of Comporta. Lovely outdoor space, bikes available to use. Would highly recommend.
