Location could not have been better. Beautiful home. Just outside of Angra on the water. Quiet and peaceful after a day of white knuckle driving on the island! The owner, Maria, was absolutely lovely, as was her staff. Excellent price also. Hope to go back and stay in the spring.

Our detached villa was wonderfully open-air with a sweeping ocean view . The neighborhood is peaceful and a short drive from Angra. The grounds are attractive and well-maintained. We had complete privacy but Henry was available for any help we needed. He greeted us as 130 am in person and we found cheese , bread and jam waiting for us. The villa was a delight to wake up in and return to after a day of exploring. There was a parking spot for us as well. Listen to Henry’s recommendations! He knows all!

Gilberto and staff are the nicest people. The place is has historical museum aspect, but it’s also just fun tranquil Quinta. It invites you to be outside, take a walk and escape. Also the dinner felt like home, so good!

excellent loca bcuz of proximity to ocean and view of mountain. proximity to sunshine also necessity which was met and exceeded my expectations. Owners availability to my needs while he is also running a business. I paid the same price in lisbon for a 3 sqm shared bathroom situ,,,overall the further away from western civilization the better it gets...

We arrived late & tired. Host met us on the curb, and was most helpful, attentive and informative. House is immaculate and interesting. Would be well suited to a family visit. (Kids will like lofty secondary beds, I guess) Comfortable all around. We loved the back patio with traditional outdoor Azorian kitchen with wood oven and cooker. Host made a bunch of good suggestions for food, etc. Not a complaint, but it's a little out of the way. We quite liked the neighborhood. Makes for a quiet pleasant stay, but not much going on in the immediate vicinity, if that's important to you. While we could have walked, we ended up driving to old Angra. (Easy parking, free parking there). Angra was our favorite town in the Azores.

Loved every part of our stay here. The house was spacious, clean, and conveniently located within walking distance to the beach, cafe, and grocery store. Walking distance (~20 minutes) to downtown. Large bedrooms with lots of storage, lots of windows for fresh air, and every single amenity you could possibly need. Fully equipped kitchen! Parking right across the street.
