Wonderful place to stay if you want to explore the Sete Cidades area. We stayed in Casa dos Avós and it was super comfortable for our family of four. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, always making sure guests are well taken care of.

Private parking for two cars, 20 min to the airport. A lot of space to chill for all family. It’s not clear from the photos but in reality it’s bigger than we expected. Two living rooms with few sofas, many armchairs and few tiny sitting corners to hide for work, or to read. A lot of space outside on the two-layered garden with the swimming pool. The owner is very responsive.

In the house there are heaters and AC in every room, when it’s not cloudy you can see the lake from one of the bedrooms right from the bed! Would love to come back here with family :)

We’re not drinkers (coffee and wine) but we appreciated the welcome gift. Although very well decorated, it is still child proof. My 3 years old did not break anything. The location was a bit outside Sete Cidades but easily done by walk and was a good location for hiking trails and Mosteiros by car.MaximeFamily with young children

In reality still looks pretty, but it is totally unfunctional, compared to other pro accommodations we had booked for this stay at much better rates, but the worst is that things that are in the offer are not there. Not to mention proper service, because a bottle on the table does not compensate for proper communication and poor amenities at exorbitant price.
