I honestly think it is the best hotel I have ever stayed in in Brazil. the location is stunning, it is so nice that the house has its own deck. it makes it so much easier to get there, take a taxi boat, etc. it is also nice to read a book. the rooms are absolutely beautiful, I travelled a lot in Brazil and I never saw this quality for bedding, decorations, etc. the service is great: we loved the breakfast and the tea time, and we loved the option to order pique-nique for our walks.

Featuring a bar and views of sea, La Coquille is a recently renovated guest house located in Praia de Araçatiba, a few steps from Aracatiba. Breakfast was great, service was excellent, gentleman named Diego/Jiego took care of everything, got my laundry done, got a free room upgrade, had tours of the island organised. 10/10 would go again.

Located on Ilha Grande, Abraãozinho Beach, Bonito Paraiso has two houses with a total o 7 rooms. This place is paradise! Opening the door and wandering out onto the veranda for breakfast by the sea is amazing. In the morning there is no one else on the beach and only the few guests in the couple of others rooms so it is truly the most peaceful place on earth!

Vila Pedra Mar offers accommodation in Praia Vermelha. The guest house has a barbecue and sun terrace, and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar. The place is great, has an excellent location at Praia Vermelha. The room was always clean and had an incredible view to the bay. The hosts were awesome even before we arrived and they cook the best meals!! We are definitely going back!

Situated in Praia de Araçatiba, 600 metres from Araçatibinha Beach, Pousada Convés - Ilha Grande features accommodation with a garden, private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. Pousada Convés is located literally on the sea, there is even a pontoon from which you can dive straight in to refresh yourself. Many fish are chilling under the pontoon and you can snorkel directly there. If you’re lucky, you may even see a turtle or two! The environment is simply breathtaking and fantastic, you get breakfast or dinner with a view every single day. Just mesmerizing… The staff is so helpful, they went out of their way every time to help us. Very kind hearted people. The service is exceptional. Last but not least, the food is prepared daily by the owner who is also a chef at cooking sea food. She even baked a cake for my wife’s birthday, truly incredible experience.
