Club del Carmen is just a few steps from Los Pocillos Beach, 25 minutes' walk from Lanzarote’s Playa Grande and 40 minutes' walk from Playa Chica beaches. Lovely clean appartments. All staff are amazing.

Just 550m from Los Pocillos beach and 6km from the airport make Hyde Park the perfect location to go out and visit the island, enjoy or relax in Puerto del Carmen. The staff were friendly and attentive. The accommodation was spotless and cleaned to a high standard. Nothing to dislike about the hotel.

Set overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, La Isla y el Mar Hotel Boutique features outdoor pools and a poolside bar. The air-conditioned suites are a 15-minute walk from Playa Chica Beach. From the welcome I received from reception and the bell boy (that's what he called himself) to the chocolates left on my bed every evening, I thought the staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. It was my birthday and I didn't tell them and they surprised me with a bottle of cava and cake. I loved my room. it was so quiet and peaceful. It was like an oasis. I was there off peak so I don't know what my experience would be like at peak times. The floral smells from the gardens were amazing. Everywhere someone was cleaning and working. Breakfast was amazing. The choice superb. One of the reviews I read before staying here said the evening meals were limited so I didn't choose half board. However, I did use the restaurant one evening and OMG! the quality of food was amazing. The price brilliant. I ate stuff I'd never tried before. I understood what the review meant in that it's not the typical functional spread with everything laid out. There's lots of stuff laid out but you get to choose the starter and the main in addition to this from about 3 different choices a day from a menu which is then made to order and then brought to you. I loved it. My steak was divine. But I like food that's been prepared with extra detail and flair and is an experience to eat over functional style self-service eating. And you can eat those dishes how many times you want. If you're looking for Indian or Chinese takeaway type food and burgers and chips and tapas etc there are plenty of those places at Playa del Carmen which is 35 min walk away. I went and ate at a lavish looking restaurant on the strip that a friend recommended and paid double for okay food. I actually regretted leaving the hotel! If you're looking for a secluded stay where you're treated like royalty and fine dining come here. I was given five star treatment at a five star boutique hotel.

Located in Playa Honda and with Playa de Guacimeta reachable within 700 metres, Papá Totë Deluxe provides a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. Very nice and friendly host, made me feel welcome at once. No problem with me arriving late. I really liked the interior design of the common room and my own, very relaxing and meditative, wish I could furniture my own home like this. I even had my own balcony terrace.

Located within 400 metres of Playa Del Reducto and 2.5 km of Playa del Cable, Nirvana Yoga Center provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Arrecife. Super clean, quiet and friendly environment.

Casona La Orilla 1908 Tías, a property with an outdoor swimming pool, is set in Tías, 6 km from Rancho Texas Park, 9.2 km from Campesino Monument, as well as 17 km from Lagomar Museum. Josemari is the perfect host - what a lovely guy! Ultra helpful and very attentive to his guests. Location fabulous for exploring the Island as Tias is centrally located. I hired a car but there is a supermarket 6 minutes walk away and bus stops are very close to the property for those on foot. Kitchen area is ideal with coffee and tea making facilities along with a toaster and microwave. What a lovely rural property with good sized rooms and private bathrooms and uber comfy bed. The pool area is perfect if you want to relax. I had a wonderful stay - I will return for sure!

This place is great! Very clean and very comfortable. It’s in a great area and the pool is beautiful. Will def be staying here again
