In the most lovely small village. All topped off with great service at every turn. Compact bathroom, but not a problem for short stays.

Set in Barford Saint Michael, 21 km from Blenheim Palace, The George Inn offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. We have never received such a good customer service. Place was beautiful and staff was very helpful and friendly.

Highly recommended as a great base for touring the Cotswolds . Loved our stay!!

A traditional Cotswolds inn dating back to the 14th century, the Eight Bells in Chipping Campden has a selection of individually styled en suite guest rooms. We loved how characterful it was. The breakfasts which were included are second to none. The staff were so attentive and kind, ensuring we had everything we could possibly want or need. The owner visited with us, and ended up not only securing us a Cotswolds tour, but one that agreed to take our luggage and drop us at our next destination. I would highly recommend this inn.

Set in the Cotswold market town of Tetbury, this charming town house dates back to 1535 and boasts a restaurant with views of the walled garden and fountain. Beautiful hotel and rooms. Breakfast was great with a good variety catering for all diets. Very dog friendly. Will definitely rebook for future visits to the area.

A Grade II Listed building, The Bird in Hand offers modern rooms in a traditional setting. The rooms have plasma-screen TVs and there is free Wi-Fi in the all areas. Nice, cosy ample room, looking at a beautiful garden. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar restaurant of the Inn was perfect for dining and breakfast, really warm and welcoming atmosphere. Location was perfect to explore by car the beautiful countryside.

Set 27 km from Blenheim Palace, Fleur de Lys Bampton offers 4-star accommodation in Bampton and features a garden, a terrace and a bar. I was looking for a little bit of the Great British History which I miss living in NZ, it was so adorable and quaint! Breakfast and coffee were magnificent! Had a lovely small supper and cocktail too :)
