Our hotel is perfectly situated with views of Lake Windermere, just a short stroll from the bustling village centre of Bowness-on-Windermere and the boats that travel the length of Windermere, making... The location is amazing and the rooms were really good. Everything is good quality and I will definitely be coming here again and recommending it.

This family-run Lake District accommodation has an indoor swimming pool, picturesque gardens and free parking. Free WiFi is available in the downstairs public areas and the bedrooms. Excellent staff, very attentive, great interactions with our four year old boy. Room was stunningly beautiful, bathroom had a wonderful mirror in front of the bathroom that turns into a telly. Afternoon tea was very nice, Scones are very tasty.

A 5-minute drive from Bassenthwaite Lake, Ravenstone Manor is an 19th-century manor house set in 3 hectares of ground. The property is at the foot of Skiddaw, overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. everything . thé location thé staff who were so accommodating and went out of their way to make my stay a memorable one . I arrived late and dinner was no problem and I set out for an early run and they did everything so that I could have breakfast before I left . my single room was so cosy and comfortable and the hotel is charming . sitting around the fire relaxing in the evening with a nice hot chocolate was perfect and the food was delicious too .

With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake... OUSTANDING!! What a FABULOUS experience staying here! The location, atmosphere, food & warm welcoming staff made our short stay EXCEPTIONAL! Beautiful and comfortable rooms, very cosy place to spend a rainy evening. Really excellent food at the restaurant and the breakfast was amazing! We stopped for one night to break up the drive from Scotland and I wish we could have stayed longer, will definitely be back.

Location was ideal for visiting other places and a beautiful setting especially the sunrise on a good day... comfortable, relaxing house and room, very quiet...hosts Ben and V were very welcoming and nothing was too much if needed anything . breakfast was fab especially the toast...lovely local pub within walking distance The Pheasant inn... great value for money would definitely book again.
