Perfect location. Everything you need to visit in Athens is nearby. Staff were so kind. They also have organized our transfer from the Airport what we appreciated a lot. There are also some great cafes, bakeries, restaurants, rent a car offices in the area. Metro station is 3 min walk away. Highly recommend this hotel for short stays especially.

Lovely people, very friendly. They all try hard to provide the best. They left a handwritten message in the bedroom wishing us a nice stay, a welcome treat with local foods and drink, a room tour explaining all smart technology incorporated (the blinds are my favorite). Everything is immaculate and very neat which is a must have for me. The shower feels like a spa, very comfortable couch and bed, the hotel is soundproofed so a good sleep is guaranteed, you can find nice wooden hangers, augmentation mirror, good quality hairdryer, robes, slippers... The bedroom had everything you could need and beyond. Very modern and new. The breakfast service is extraordinary as well. A wide range of variety of local products and of course, kind service. Location is just perfect. Surrounded by many restaurants, shops, very short walking distance of historical sites and safe. Can't wait to come back!

To me, top priority wherever I stay is cleanliness, then comfort and service. The Modernist ticks all the boxes. Such a pleasant stay. Lovely interior (modern and sleek), great location, fantastic staff, super-clean. I loved my "M"-sized room that came with a cute balcony (and a nice view, at that). Truly enjoyable stay. I highly recommend The Modernist and would absolutely stay there again.

Excellent location,facility and staff. Exceptional value for money. Could not have been better. Staff were brilliant, always friendly and helpful.
