Set in Pelling, Phamlhakhang Ecohomestay features accommodation with seating area. With mountain views, this accommodation offers a balcony. I loved the balcony and the view the of Kanchenjunga and the other mountains from the balcony. I loved the food everyday and all of the hosts were extremely nice. Uncle took me to his monastery one morning and offered to help me explore other parts of the area too, I really appreciated that. I loved sitting in the balcony at night and seeing the lights from other houses glisten in the distance. The homestay had a very relaxing and had a peaceful energy and I hope to visit again. As a bonus, the bathroom was very nice with amazing water pressure and a very big water heater.

Set in Gangtok, Monratino Ridge View is a recently renovated accommodation, 1.9 km from Enchey Monastery and 2.3 km from Palzor Stadium. The rooms are really lovely! Comfy and very clean, nice shared balcony too. Host is super kind and helpful! Helped booked a trip to Tsomgo Lake, and helped with taxis/planning our trip. Location is also great, a short walk out of the busy Marg, and all for a very good price. Would recommend !!

The Nettle and Fern Farmstay features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Pelling. A beautiful place overlooking the hills and mountains, with many gardens and amazing staff who would made your stay very comfortable. The wooden building with beautiful balconies was really a cool place to make your home in the mountains.
