The cottage and main house were so peaceful--I was content to spend hours just reading on my balcony and listening to the birds and the call to prayer down in the valley. I looked forward to every part of my day--but especially breakfast, which was an absolute feast, every time! Some of the best food I've had in Kerala, and that's a high bar. Renju and the staff were wonderful in ordering autos for me when I needed them, and also they were just so friendly and helpful. This is a great place to come for a long or short retreat. Highly recommended.

The interior of the hotel, the rooms, the view you have from each and every point on the hills with tea bushes are incredible and charming. However, the best in this hotel are people. Manager Binoy is great host who truly takes care of his guest making sure we had the best possible experience of Wayanad and of our staying at the hotel. His team is dedicated and was careful and attentive to every our need, they were so kind and welcoming. And the last but not the least is the chief of the hotel who made absolutely unforgettable dinners, it was so delicious. We’ve spent 7 days there and enjoyed each and every moment.

The food they served was delicious and had local flavors. Everything was clean and comfy, so I didn't have to worry about anything. The staff was friendly and made me feel welcome. I think Stone House Bungalow is the best place for families in Wayanad because it has a bit of everything – nature, history, and good service. I recommend it for a short and unique getaway.

The place was located in the middle of picturesque nature. For me, it was calming, relaxing, and peaceful. The staff were super attentive and kind. Especially the owner who checked in everyday to help me plan my day. He arranged an excellent driver to take me around to different places and he made sure I had no trouble or issues. This type of hospitality and service exceeded my expectation and allowed me to fully appreciate and enjoy the region. I would definitely come back to this place again and highly recommend it to others.
