Beautiful property. Very thoughtfully designed and super comfortable. Extremely clean (some of the best housekeeping services I've seen!). Service is top notch and would return to this hotel in a heartbeat. The breakfast buffet is delicious, and the location of the hotel is great - just a few minutes walk from the center of Funchal.

Breakfast outside, on the terrace, looking over the ocean - just WOW!

Each accommodation is elegantly decorated and includes tea-and-coffee making facilities, a minibar, and a balcony with sea views. All rooms have a seating area with a sofa. Everything was perfect! This is the best hotel we have ever been, every detail was considered. We were so impressed. There was s coffe machine in the room, welcome drink with champain, and ocean view! I would give 100 stars for this view!!!! The breakfast was delicious, the room was very crean, the staff is very attentive and kind. There isnt better hotel in Porto Moniz, maybe even on the island.

A shuttle service is available to Funchal Airport, located 30 km away. S. Jorge Beach is 3 km away. The host was very generous and kind, one evening she treated us with Madeira wine and cake. The lounge (breakfast/dinner space) was very cozy; The room had a very rare find in Madeira - a heater, so we were able to dry our clothes etc. This wasn't the case in other hotels ( 5 of them) we booked in Madeira.

Perched on a cliff facing the Atlantic Ocean, this design hotel is within a renovated traditional farmhouse. Set on Madeira’s South Coast, Ponta do Sol has a stunning infinity pool and hot tub with panoramic views. Beautiful views, friendly and attentive staff, very nice breakfast. We were there at the beginning of January and were able to enjoy the outdoor pool and ocean views. We had a car (which we recommend so you have the freedom to explore the whole island) and there is free parking available below the hotel on the street with a lift up to the hotel. We will definitely book in again if we come back to Madeira.

Casa Da Piedade’s rooms feature wood furniture, as well as a TV and telephone. Each private bathroom includes a walk-in shower. Beautiful location, wonderful little town. Service was exceptional and breakfast was awesome!
