Located near Serra da Estrela, this 250-year old manor house has historic furnishings and artistic accessories. Each themed room is a reminder of older way of life. Amazing hotel, full of charming details like paintings and monuments and original pieces of furniture. The lovely host made a tour around the building and told about the history of the hotel. The room itself was very spacious, no problems with the water and tasty breakfast upstairs! I would definetely stay here during my next trip to the mountains. 10/10!

We were made to feel very welcome. Everyone was friendly. The place is warm and cosy. The room was clean and comfortable. Shower pressure was excellent. We specifically asked for a room with a balcony and that is what we got.

The room was quite spacious and had an excellent view. The bathroom was clean, and the shower had warm water all the time. I didn't get to use the spa, so if you are coming here, do bring a swimsuit.
