Absolutely stunning estate with the best views and grounds that I've encountered in the Douro. Chef was Michelin Star quality, we wish we had stayed longer as it was far superior to the other 3 vineyards we stayed in.

Compte amb l'aparcament dedicat a les motos: té una rampa d'accés molt inclinada que pot ser un problema per a conductors no experimentats.

Boasting a garden, restaurant and views of mountain, O Abel Hotel rural is set in Bragança, 6.9 km from Braganca Castle. Some units at the property feature a balcony with pool view. L'habitació donava a un petit jardí . L'esmorzar era correcte. L'habitació és molt bonica.

L'Original Douro Hotel està situat a Peso da Régua, a la regió del Nord, a 400 m del Museu do Douro. This hotel is a hidden gem. Only a block from the famous wine bars an old building has been remarkably restored to produce a hotel which is really almost like a member of Small Luxury Hotels. The value for money is outstanding and we come back and back. Breakfast is excellent and the rooms are very comfortable. Arquitects should book to admire the impeccable quality of the restoration. Staff is very, very friendly and helpful.

Offering a terrace and views of the mountain, Candeias do Souto is located in Bragança in the Norte Region, 9 km from Braganca Castle. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Perfect location for relaxing or hiking in a beautifully refurbished old stone building with a nice garden. Great breakfast and very friendly staff. Definitely recommendable and we'll not hesitate to book this again if we want to return to the region.

La Quinta De La Rosa és un allotjament de propietat familiar situat en una finca vinícola, a la riba dreta del riu Duero, a 2 km de Pinhão. Our visit to Quinta de la Rosa was simply wonderful and far exceeded expectations. Our room was beautiful with stunning views and dinner in the restaurant (on both nights) was outstanding. We had an excellent wine tour/tasting and did some fabulous hikes including right to the top of the estate. Couldn't recommend a visit here more highly.

The 3-star Hotel Albergaria Borges provides modern accommodation in Chaves, just 1.5 km from the city. El servei és molt atent i amable. Fàcil accés i aparcament privat.

Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. Breakfast was lovely with fresh juice, pastries and fruit. We were also sent away with extra slices of cake and fruit for our journey! We also had dinner there and nothing was too much. The food was excellent but was clearly prepared just for us and made it even more special with all the beams and vineyard features such as barrels in the reception and dining room. The bedroom was very cosy and the bed was extremely comfy and bathroom with a bath was excellent. The room was very large and had lots of features to make us feel like we were in the vineyard. The best bit was when we arrived and we were greeted by the family with glasses of port from their vineyard for free before sitting by a toasty fire to warm up - perfect welcome!!
