O Abel Hotel rural ligger i Bragança, 6,9 km fra Braganca Slot, og har have, restaurant og bjergudsigt. Nogle af ferieboligerne har balkon med pooludsigt. Alle værelserne har skrivebord. Personal welcome from the owner! He is a real host and immediately helped us to feel welcome in what he called 'paradise'. Nice room with a HUGE bathroom. Good breakfast and a very good restaurant which was packed when we were there. Personal attention as well and more than a fair price for an excellent meal. Free and easy parking and worth to stop here and stay for at least 1 night. Close to Branganca and direct on the N218 which is very scenic road to drive along... I can confirm you will feel in paradise!!

Original Douro Hotel ligger i Peso da Régua, 400 m fra Douro-museet, og har terrasse, bar og udsigt over byen. This hotel is a hidden gem. Only a block from the famous wine bars an old building has been remarkably restored to produce a hotel which is really almost like a member of Small Luxury Hotels. The value for money is outstanding and we come back and back. Breakfast is excellent and the rooms are very comfortable. Arquitects should book to admire the impeccable quality of the restoration. Staff is very, very friendly and helpful.

Candeias do Souto ligger i Bragança i Norte-regionen, 9 km fra Bragança Slot. Der tilbydes terrasse og udsigt over bjergene. Der er bar på stedet. Værelserne har fladskærms-tv. Perfect location for relaxing or hiking in a beautifully refurbished old stone building with a nice garden. Great breakfast and very friendly staff. Definitely recommendable and we'll not hesitate to book this again if we want to return to the region.

We are travelling with a baby and the staff preemptively helped us all the time without us even asking. They put us in a room at the end of the corridor so we wouldn’t disturb other guests, helped run food to my husband from the restaurant as he stayed in the room with the sleeping baby, and had a table ready for us at breakfast in a separate to the other guests. These actions just took all the stress out of our stay and shows how attentive the staff are to the customers and do things without it even needing to be asked. Thank you so much for the team to make it a hassle free stay.

Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food, der har udsigt over den naturskønne Douro-floddal, ligger på en historisk landsted og er omgivet af en have samt vinmarker. Breakfast was lovely with fresh juice, pastries and fruit. We were also sent away with extra slices of cake and fruit for our journey! We also had dinner there and nothing was too much. The food was excellent but was clearly prepared just for us and made it even more special with all the beams and vineyard features such as barrels in the reception and dining room. The bedroom was very cosy and the bed was extremely comfy and bathroom with a bath was excellent. The room was very large and had lots of features to make us feel like we were in the vineyard. The best bit was when we arrived and we were greeted by the family with glasses of port from their vineyard for free before sitting by a toasty fire to warm up - perfect welcome!!
