Absolutely stunning estate with the best views and grounds that I've encountered in the Douro. Chef was Michelin Star quality, we wish we had stayed longer as it was far superior to the other 3 vineyards we stayed in.

Makikita sa Bragança, may 7 kilometro mula sa Braganca Castle, ang O Abel, Hotel rural ay nag-aalok ng accommodation na may hardin, libreng private parking, at terrace. May mga family room ang hotel. Personal welcome from the owner! He is a real host and immediately helped us to feel welcome in what he called 'paradise'. Nice room with a HUGE bathroom. Good breakfast and a very good restaurant which was packed when we were there. Personal attention as well and more than a fair price for an excellent meal. Free and easy parking and worth to stop here and stay for at least 1 night. Close to Branganca and direct on the N218 which is very scenic road to drive along... I can confirm you will feel in paradise!!

Makikita sa Peso da Regua, Norte Region, matatagpuan ang Original Douro Hotel sa layong 400 metro mula sa Douro Museum. This hotel is a hidden gem. Only a block from the famous wine bars an old building has been remarkably restored to produce a hotel which is really almost like a member of Small Luxury Hotels. The value for money is outstanding and we come back and back. Breakfast is excellent and the rooms are very comfortable. Arquitects should book to admire the impeccable quality of the restoration. Staff is very, very friendly and helpful.

Offering a terrace and views of the mountain, Candeias do Souto is located in Bragança in the Norte Region, 9 km from Braganca Castle. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Candelas do Souto is a lovely converted farm house. It has lots of charm from the outside and is modern and clean inside. There are areas inside the property that show parts of the buildings history and old working life. There is a small but beautiful garden at the back of the property that is perfect for relaxing in.

Matatagpuan sa lupaing gumagawa ng wine, sa mismong pampang ng Douro River, makikita ang family owned accommodation na Quinta De La Rosa sa layong 2 km mula sa Pinhao. Our visit to Quinta de la Rosa was simply wonderful and far exceeded expectations. Our room was beautiful with stunning views and dinner in the restaurant (on both nights) was outstanding. We had an excellent wine tour/tasting and did some fabulous hikes including right to the top of the estate. Couldn't recommend a visit here more highly.

The 3-star Hotel Albergaria Borges provides modern accommodation in Chaves, just 1.5 km from the city. Very nice hotel. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Good size room. Bed comfortable. Wifi good. Parking behind hotel or in front carpark. Nice breakfast in morning.

Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. Breakfast was lovely with fresh juice, pastries and fruit. We were also sent away with extra slices of cake and fruit for our journey! We also had dinner there and nothing was too much. The food was excellent but was clearly prepared just for us and made it even more special with all the beams and vineyard features such as barrels in the reception and dining room. The bedroom was very cosy and the bed was extremely comfy and bathroom with a bath was excellent. The room was very large and had lots of features to make us feel like we were in the vineyard. The best bit was when we arrived and we were greeted by the family with glasses of port from their vineyard for free before sitting by a toasty fire to warm up - perfect welcome!!
