Personal welcome from the owner! He is a real host and immediately helped us to feel welcome in what he called 'paradise'. Nice room with a HUGE bathroom. Good breakfast and a very good restaurant which was packed when we were there. Personal attention as well and more than a fair price for an excellent meal. Free and easy parking and worth to stop here and stay for at least 1 night. Close to Branganca and direct on the N218 which is very scenic road to drive along... I can confirm you will feel in paradise!!

Only a block from the famous wine bars an old building has been remarkably restored to produce a hotel which is really almost like a member of Small Luxury Hotels. The value for money is outstanding and we come back and back. Breakfast is excellent and the rooms are very comfortable. Arquitects should book to admire the impeccable quality of the restoration. Staff is very, very friendly and helpful.

Perfect location for relaxing or hiking in a beautifully refurbished old stone building with a nice garden. Great breakfast and very friendly staff. Definitely recommendable and we'll not hesitate to book this again if we want to return to the region.

Pinhão'ya 2 km uzaklıkta, Douro Nehri'nin sağ yakasında yer alan Quinta De La Rosa, bir şarap üretim tesisinde hizmet veren bir aile işletmesidir. Our visit to Quinta de la Rosa was simply wonderful and far exceeded expectations. Our room was beautiful with stunning views and dinner in the restaurant (on both nights) was outstanding. We had an excellent wine tour/tasting and did some fabulous hikes including right to the top of the estate. Couldn't recommend a visit here more highly.

Breakfast was lovely with fresh juice, pastries and fruit. We were also sent away with extra slices of cake and fruit for our journey! We also had dinner there and nothing was too much. The food was excellent but was clearly prepared just for us and made it even more special with all the beams and vineyard features such as barrels in the reception and dining room. The bedroom was very cosy and the bed was extremely comfy and bathroom with a bath was excellent. The room was very large and had lots of features to make us feel like we were in the vineyard. The best bit was when we arrived and we were greeted by the family with glasses of port from their vineyard for free before sitting by a toasty fire to warm up - perfect welcome!!
