The room was incredibly clean and comfortable. The owner did everything to make my stay enjoyable e.g. arranging for a taxi to take me to a restaurant. The breakfast was very good and I thought the stay was wonderful value for money. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this guest house.

Our host, Helen, was just wonderful - excellent, clear instructions to find the property, proactive, early communication and she waited for us to arrive, late in the evening, to personally get us settled, which we so appreciated.the overall property was just beautiful, absolutely idyllic, and the annex where our rooms were located was well laid out, extremely comfortable and had far more facilities than you’d expect from a B&B - you could have cooked in the kitchenette if you wished! The accommodation was comfy and cosy, lovely shower, comfortable beds, and the aspect from the sitting area was something we really enjoyed. I would not hesitate in recommending this property to anyone traveling to the area, which was perfectly located for access to Bletchley Park, Blenheim Palace and Oxford. I very much hope to return!

Bel & The Dragon at The Red Lion is a historic grade II-listed coaching inn with stunning features dating back to 1669 and possibly even earlier in origin; much of the original building still stands. It has been sensitively restored this year, with the aim of providing a premium, contemporary English inn, with sophisticated charm and historic character. The building features a 17th century fireplace and exposed beams, it also has free WiFi and free on-site parking. Large room beautiful bathroom

The property is non-smoking and is set 6.4 km from Uxbridge. Quaint, quiet, delightful hotel. Fantastic, attentive staff who made our brief stay very enjoyable. Great breakfast which set us up for a long journey. Very clean, comfortable rooms with everything we needed.

A 10-minute walk from the centre of Great Missenden is the Nag’s Head Hotel, a 4-star 15th century inn. Guests can enjoy contemporary styled interiors, Anglo-French fusion cuisine and free Wi-Fi.

Nearby Great Missenden is home to the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre, and in the local area there are many quaint villages and pretty country walks to discover. I liked the back patio area with different types of seating.

With picturesque English gardens, West Lodge is a 19th-century Victorian house, offering free parking and good breakfasts. West Lodge has en suite rooms with TVs, DVD players and tea/coffee.

The friendly West Lodge Hotel offers excellent service and hospitality. Country pubs and restaurants are within easy walking distance. A beautiful historic gem, the owners and staff were all very accommodating and friendly.

Ideal for a weekend away in a quaint village, the hotel has easy access to Milton Keynes, Aylesbury, Leighton Buzzard, and even London via the M1.

The only public house and restaurant in Drayton Parslow, The Three Horseshoes offers competitive rates, generous meals, and rooms with oak beamed ceilings. The atmosphere inside the Shoes is always warm and welcoming, especially during the winter months with the open-sided log fire. Outside there is a child-friendly, enclosed garden where the whole family can enjoy a summer day. Double motorway road closures on my drive to the property meant a three and a half hour journey became six, I arrived at 01:30 and had to get the owner out of bed. He was extremely kind. Amazing value. Breakfast is superb. Highly recommend!

This family-run Victorian coaching inn, set in the beautiful village of Waddesdon, offers comfortable accommodation with a warm, friendly atmosphere.

Aylesbury is 5 miles away, offering all the facilities of a busy market town, while Bicester village, a designer outlet centre, is only a 20 minute drive away. Heathrow, Birmingham and Luton airports are all within an hour's drive. Warm welcoming friendly staff showed us to large, beautifully decorated, immaculately clean rooms. Evening meal was delicious, breakfast excellent. Plenty of car parking space and in perfect location to visit Waddesdon Manor.
