Open from 2015, Cinnamon Guesthouse Dogo offers female only and mixed dormitory rooms with free WiFi. Dogo Onsen Station is a 4-minute walk away. Shimpei is an amazing host. He is very kind and helpful. He let me keep my bicycle inside and helped booking a ferry. The music was very nice too.

Great place in a quiet town. Would need to take a bus or train from Uwajima. Schedule is not regular but easy enough to navigate. Space is large and very well thought out with sleeping room, hang out lounge and nice kitchen with table and chairs. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Great place to base for walks in area. Huge bonus was Izakaya down the street. Super refined and tasty. We enjoyed our stay.

Super helpful owner. Only one group of people staying at one time(max. 5 people), there were only two of us during our stay, so the whole experience was wonderful. The owner recommended nearby restaurant, friendly and nice food. The room is comfy and clean. Overall highly recommended! And we love the breakfast!

It is in a very quiet location. There is a small beach just behind the house. Outside the house can park 2-3 cars. There are 3 rooms of reasonable size. 2 rooms are with 2 double decker beds. 1 room with 2 single beds, and this room is joined to the sitting area. The kitchen and dining area is certainly the most interesting area. The kitchen has all the facilities for light cooking, and the large dining table can easily seat 10. The is a washing machine and dryer, and wifi is good and strong. The place is quite remote, so it is suitable for those travelling by own vehicle, car, bicycle or motorbike. The hosts are very hospitable and very helpful with local places to visit. They met us on arrival. Check-out was also free of hassle.

Suminoにあるあかがね荘は、無料レンタル自転車、庭、テラス、館内全域での無料WiFiを提供しています。敷地内に専用駐車場があります。... Outstanding property with all the amenities you could want for a family retreat. With optional Karaoke, Large Outdoor Bath, and Yakiniku (BBQ), we spent more time at the house then we did away from it. The house is nestled in a private bamboo forest with multiple outdoor hammocks and one indoor hammock to enjoy. The building itself appears to be very new and was very clean. We had a toddler in our party and were provided with a diaper pail as well as baby shower supplies. We requested the optional outdoor bath, for each night of our stay, and there was a bucket of rubber duckies that filled the large bath much to our toddler's delight. There were also board games and coloring supplies available to entertain our children. The property owners even provided home made mochi and shaved ice! All in all this was the highlight of our trip around Japan and a memory my children will never forget. 10/10 would recommend this property to families or couples looking for a private getaway.
