Amazing hostel. I paid the equivalent of 25 euro per night for a twin private room without bathroom. The shared kitchen was tidy and very well stocked! The wifi worked amazingly fast. The facilities, bathrooms and showers were plenty and very clean. I was expecting much less according to some reviews but it was well worth the money. Also the check in procedure is very straight forward, you receive your code and that's it.

The bright guest rooms at Hostel Göteborg have wooden floors and are furnished with a table and chairs. Some rooms have bunk beds, while others have spring mattresses. All rooms feature windows and a quiet location.

Great staff, clean and sufficient facilities (showers toilets). Bunk beds that DID not make noise/creak/shake when one person moves! Impressive, I kid you not. Beds had nice curtains for privacy. Would stay again for sure.

It’s in a great location, less than 10 minute walk from the bus and train station with a direct bus to the airport. The room was comfortable, warm, nice hot showers and the included breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of hot and cold food, pastries, juice and hot drinks. All the staff I encountered were lovely and helpful. I felt safe here as a solo traveller. There is a Co op on the corner just a couple minutes walk away which was really convenient to get some snacks.

Overall would definitely recommend for a budget hotel in a great location.
