Situated in El Calafate and with Argentinean Lake reachable within 3.9 km, Folk Hostel features concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared lounge. The bus terminal is within line of sight so we were able to walk to the hostel easily without having to take a taxi. The hostel is new and in good condition. We had a private room with bath and it was very spacious.

With scenic views of Calafate´s mountains and lake, this hostel is a 7-minute walk from downtown Calafate. It features accommodation with floor heating, free Wi-Fi, communal kitchen and laundrette. Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was great and started early if you had to leave early in the morning. The evenings were entertaining and busy in the restaurant area. The drinks were phenomenal.

Extremely well located. Close enough to downtown but far enough to keep the noise level out. Some people may not know but Bariloche is A CITY. And Calle Mitre’s surroundings at night can get very loud and lively. This is not an issue at Nina. For the most part the staff was pretty awesome. Breakfast was pretty good tbh. I felt there were options, there were eggs self service, a toaster and different breads and honey, jams & peanut butter… I was satisfied and ready for my daily adventures. Pool was immaculate although I didn’t get to use it.

We joined the asado on a tuesday night, the food that Santiago prepared was so good! We had such a fun time with the other people in the hostel and the staff. A true Argentinian experience. The kitchen was also well stocked with all the stuff you need. The bathroom was quite new and the shower was nice.

Located in San Carlos de Bariloche, INDÓMITO HOSTEL features a garden, shared lounge, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. Extraordinary hostel. The volunteers and owner keep the place really good and put a lot of effort. The house has a nice garden and a quincho for barbecue. Very comfortable living room for co-work or relaxing. The location is insane, right in front of the lake located on the beach. Many hiking options around the corner.

Set in San Carlos de Bariloche, Hostel Hormiga Negra has a garden, terrace, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. Super well-thought out hostel with an incredible view of the lake. Clean and tidy all the time and lots of hang out areas and games for socializing. The kitchen also had lots of spices for use-- a definite plus!

Emily and Mariano and the whole staff were very welcoming and treated me like family. There was a nice common space and outdoor space to meet people and play with simona the crazy dog. I had a great time and ended up staying at the hostel twice when I returned to Bariloche!
