The staff were incredibly helpful, giving us a full debrief on the area, answering all of our questions and providing us with free waterproof clothing for hiking. The hotel itself is lovely and the room we had was our favourite so far in Colombia. We had the whole top floor to ourselves and the room was impeccably clean and traditionally decorated with everything we needed. There was also free water, coffee and tea all day which is a lovely touch.

Diego and his staff were very kind, helpful and ensured we were very comfortable. The house was as beautiful and as I dreamt of. Breakfast was lovely and the location was perfect for visiting Salento. We were looking for beautiful country side and near Salento, the best of both worlds! Diego helped us with organising transport to allow us to move within the area and visit any place we were recommended. Diego took my girls horse-riding and as they had never ridden before, Diego made them feel at ease, they had a lovely picnic and they thoroughly enjoyed it. The house was lovely and we felt very at home at Reserva Guadalajara!

The Hostal is ran by a very warm and friendly family. Martha went above and beyond in her hospitality. By giving us great tips and helping us plan our days. And when I left my jacket in a pub in on our last night in Salento she helped out in retrieving it and sending it to my next destination. Ps. they have very cute cat.
