The location is central and we felt pretty safe with many restaurants nearby, steps away from San Antonio park, and it is also close to Boulevard Rio (10-15ish minute walk) which we explored on the weekend with locals taking up the streets dancing salsa in the evening - I would highly recommend visiting! Almost everything is within walking distance from the hostel and Ubers are cheap for visiting Alameda market and the salsa museum in Obrero. The hostel was decorated nicely and felt homey, and the views on the terrace were stunning. I would 100% return back to this hostel if I came back to Cali!
