Lotte - The Backpackers features individually decorated rooms and dormitories with original details from the building. Carmen, the owner of Lotte Backpacker, is super good. Her hospitality is very impressive. I would score more than 10. Location is excellent, just a few steps from the old town. I highly recommend everyone stay at this place.

Its prime location, just a 10-minute walk from the city centre, combined with the comprehensive inclusions (making it convenient for backpackers to travel even lighter) and cost-effective extras, significantly enhanced my experience. The staff were the icing on the cake - always available and eager to help, ensuring guests felt pampered and at home. Given that Mannheim Hostel is relatively new, I sincerely hope they maintain their current ethos. Anyone visiting Mannheim or its vicinity should consider staying here; it ranks among the best experiences I've had in both hostels and hotels. The best part? Everything felt genuine; there was no sense of the staff "trying too hard." It's a given that Mannheim Hostel will be my top choice during my next visit.
