Great owner who was very helpful, the room was nice, and I loved the view from the rooftop! The hostel is on the island and is very easy and cheap to reach by public ferry (takes 5mins). Walking around the island is also fun. Check out King Jamaica for some good food. :)
This village is great if you want to experience local life. The staff here are really nice and always ready to help with a smile. It's very safe to walk around this island even at night. I felt comfortable with the Nubian people and trusted them completely. For those seeking conformity, this hostel may not align. But if you want to relax and enjoy the peacefulness while looking at the stars, this is the place to be
The very best hostel in all of Egypt. They have a bonfire everyday from 8 to 9 pm by the Nile and owner/manager Gandi was the best person I met in all of Egypt. We celebrated a birthday with the locals. The hosteliers were very engaging.
Super friendly, helpful staff! Very good location. Staff prepared breakfast bags for us when we had to leave for a tour at 4am, and kept our bags safe for us. Very cheap food and drinks.
Here are some of the things that I like about the hotel: Clean and comfortable rooms Friendly and helpful staff Good value for money Convenient location Close to restaurants and shops Free Wi-Fi If you're looking for a budget-friendly hotel in Aswan with good facilities and a great location, then the ABU Hotel is a good option. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.
Lovely Stay in Go In Backpackers. Rooms are clean and confortable. Great views of Nile at rooftop and near downtown. Is a place where you will meet new people easily due to their open common areas. Staff is caring and thoughful.
The room was comfortable and most importantly clean, and the staff were friendly. They helped us book a trip to Abu Simbel which was really good and much cheaper compaing to other tour operators. The location is a bit further from city center but it was really easy to catch minibuses to get there, and David helped us a lot when we had any questions. This hostel is is a great value for money.
The hostel was really comfortable and the staff was amazing. It's a great place to meet new people and to have a great time in Aswan.
David, the owner is an extraordinary man, he helps you with everything. Even if the location is somewhat far from the city center, minibuses run all the time at a ridiculously low price, 2.5 Egyptian pounds per trip, and nearby you can find good quality and cheap street food. Stay at David Hostel!
Great location, owner helps with everything. So far best hostel.
