Beautiful location - for me it was worth it even though it is about a 30 minute walk to the main tourist street. Honestly it is nice being away from the tourist trap main drag even though I was only there for a few days. The road that leads to the hostel has lots of shops, some restaurants and bars, the sister hostel’s travel cafe, and Rachna Bookstore for great books and food. So if you are around for a while its great. The property is set in dense greenery, and does indeed have lots of birdlife. Great common spaces, great balconies, great food for the set dinners (I didn’t have the breakfast or lunch), and the staff is super knowledgeable, especially Saran. They have a deeper and somewhat offbeat lost of things to do in Gangtok, and will organize hikes for groups from the hostel. The standout for me here was the design - an amazing space compared to any other hostel I’ve been to in India. And very clean :)

Zostel Rinchenpong (Pelling) dispone de alojamiento en Rinchingpong. The location is beautiful. There is absolute silence and serene nature around the property. The staff are amazing. Big shout out to each one of them.. 💕 Also very cute and cuddly dogs around the property.. the little black puppy has got my heart ❤️

Addy’s Inn is a fantastic place to stay! Addy was a great help, offering expert assistance and guidance throughout my stay. The breakfasts and all the meals that I had were delicious. The place is super clean and the vibe is relaxed and hospitable. The location is about a 2 km walk from MG Marg (the “busy” hub) in a quiet neighborhood. The view from the balcony, of the Gangtok area and mountain is great. I would most definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

El Mochilero Ostello de Pelling ofrece alojamiento solo para adultos con restaurante, bar y jardín. Todas las habitaciones cuentan con cocina y baño compartido. This is a wonderful place in nature we were just looking for. Outside of Pelling you will find peace and silence there. The food is all organic and fresh from the own garden/ farm and sooo delicious! We would have loved to stay longer at this hostel/ farmstay. Also the owners, the family and also the other hostel guests were so friendly and nice!

El Zemu Guest House se encuentra en Gangtok y ofrece bar y salón compartido. Zameer is probably the most cordial host I've ever met in all the hostels I ever lived around some parts of the world. We became very comfortable immediately after the check in. He creates a vibe that will make you forget that you are staying in a hostel. Being an avid fan of 80's and 90's music and books, I loved how nostalgic the interior decorations were for me. The breakfast was also awesome and the common room has enough resources for a lazy hang around. I would recommend it every single time.

El Tag Along Backpackers ofrece wifi gratis y se encuentra en Gangtok, a 1,6 km del estadio Palzor y a 2,7 km del monasterio de Enchey. In quieter location compared around MG marg and still walking distance to there. Cafe downstairs is also nice atmosphere.
