Located in just a minute's walk from JR Bungo-Taketa Station, Taketa Ekimae Hostel cue is a renovated wooden accommodation. A garden and terrace are offered for guests' interaction. Probably the best hostel I’ve ever been to in Japan, the staff is absolutely lovely, there’s a bakery just underneath so it smells nice and breakfast has delicious bread. I even forgot something that the staff sent to me to another hotel. Best place to stay if you’re going to Mount Aso.

I love this place. near station and town. you can walk around and use private onsen with limit 30mins. But it is enough. old ladies who take care here is very nice. have really good sleep here.
