Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. From the entrance of the hostel, you have amazing views of the mount Fuji. Beds are comfortable, it has a nice place to socialize and grab drinks.

The host Michi was extremely friendly, funny and flexible (and very accommodating)! Exploring Kawaguchiko and getting to its attractions (onsens, hikes, caves, etc.) without a car and only using public buses is not so easy, but Michi gave lots of good suggestions on how one could do so. The common area and the garden was very beautiful (see the photo attached!)

Set in Fujikawaguchiko, 2.5 km from Fuji-Q Highland, K's House Fuji View - Travelers Hostel offers accommodation with a garden, private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Views of Mt Fuji were simply great. Spent 3 days here and she looked more beautiful every day as the weather got colder. The property is well managed with super friendly staff. The kitchen is very clean, large and accommodate several people preparing food at the same time. The mix dorm beds were sturdy and no creaking noises. Curtains provide privacy.

Hostel Mt. Fuji - FUKUYA is set in Fujiyoshida, 1.4 km from Fujikyu Highland. Gekkoji Station is 450 metres away and Fujisan Station is 1 km away. Complimentary tea and coffee are available. The host was amazing, being so nice and caring with us, as well as helping us plan the trip. Great location, very good breakfast and very comfy beds. I strongly recommend.

The whole hostel was so beautiful and with lots of attention to detail/design. We booked a simple private room with the shared bathroom and everything was very clean. We enjoyed the location close to Mt. Fuji and the little town was very cute. Also just out front is a very popular photo point.

The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful - they helped to book a bus to Tokyo and even cut the end off our walking sticks from mount Fuji so it would fit in our bags. The hostel was very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here!

Dot Hostel&Bar 富士山 is located in Fujikawaguchiko. With a shared lounge, the property also has a bar. American breakfast is available. Spacious dorm room. Clean common area. Great location as 2 mins walking to Oishi park.
