The host Pedro and Sara are very helpful and friendly, Pedro gave very good advice on places for meal and surrounding area to visit, also following his advice we took a short train ride along the river to see valley and vineyard, the view is really amazing. It's orange season and there are some orange trees in the garden, the orange is really nice. Kitchen is well equipped, as the host stay there too so everything you need to cook is available, and there's all sort of drink on counter/fridge for everyone, just need to top up honest bar as you wish , whole place is very very clean too, everything is above expectation at this place.

The property is set 12 km from Douro Museum, 36 km from Natur Waterpark and 18 km from Monastery of São Joao de Tarouca. Mateus Palace is 35 km from the hostel and São João da Pesqueira Wine Museum is 50 km away. everything seemed new. The kitchen area was very well organized and everything was clean. Shower was one of the very best showers, hot water and you had room to move.

The hostel also offers free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. Beautiful place in the nature, wonderful views and the swimming pool. The hosts are extremely nice and acommodating. It was our second time here, and we hope to come back. Highly recommended.

The Pousada features accommodation in junior suites, rooms and dormitories with free WiFi. Rooms and suites feature their own private bathroom, while the dorms have access to shared bathroom facilities. A communal games room, with billiards is available. Great price and it's very clean !!!! Way better than I expected.. if you are traveling budget .. this is the place to be!!! Breakfast included.. simple but for somewhere in the countryside.. it make your day easier.
