I absolutely loved my stay at Jaca! Clean and comfortable rooms and facilities. Lovely, friendly and caring staff. Fantastic pizza and burger nights and the most delicious poncha! Great balance between being a social but not party hostel with a possibility to surf, meet people or just enjoy your own company :) hope to come back some day!

Situated in Machico, 200 metres from Sao Roque Beach, Modern & Recycled Guest House features views of the city. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a terrace. This place was the best we stayed in Madeira. Close to the center, but still quiet. Very comfortable and with nice design. The host was super friendly, he recommended us a very interesting trail run and a couple restaurants to eat. The shared kitchen has everything you need, clean. There is a place you can leave staff so others can pick it up and it won't be wasted. We loved that idea! Room was very comfortable and had enough space. You can also buy some local handmade products, we got a soap with a really beautiful orange scent 😍

We had a fantastic stay, thank you very much for everything! Outstanding cleanliness, modern clean design, spacious rooms, great kitchen, convenient location, quietness for good night sleeps and SUPER NICE STAFF! 🙂

29 Madeira Hostel set in the centre of Funchal, Madeira Island. The property offers budget accommodation in dormitories and private rooms. Great common area that is set up to meet other people. Met tons of cool people, staff was super friendly and forthcoming. Cosy rooms, bathrooms were always clean. Would definitely stay there again

Located within a traditional and historical building in Funchal old town, Santa Maria Hostel is a boutique hostel featuring a vintage-style décor. Great hostel in old town of Funchal. Steps away from restaurants and the market, as well as cable car. Clear check in instructions were given if arriving late. Had a kitchen, several bathrooms, seating area etc. bed room had lockers and locks provided. Wi-Fi worked well. The staff were friendly. The hostel itself seemed to be a historic building and had cool design.

Felix is very nice and helpful owner having very good breakfast. His place is located in quite area with good restaurants around.

Siisti, rauhallinen ja tyylikäs hostelli, hyvät sängyt ja tyynyt, ilmalämpöpumppu huoneessa. Erinomainen aamiainen hostellin alakerran kahvilasta saatavissa 15 €/päivä lisähintaan. Hostellin kahvila ja sen yhteydessä oleva pieni pop up kauppa olivat muutenkin ihanat.

Located in Calheta and within 200 metres of Calheta Beach, The Rum Inn features a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. The room and bathroom were very good and spacious. We did not meet the staff as we arrived pretty late. But the staff from the bar downstairs were AMAZING!!! They showed us the way, served even when they were closing and even invited us to a local celebration ! 🤩
