Willkommen im Erholungsgebiet Aschau im Chiemgau zwischen Chiemsee, Kampenwand und Geigelstein. Das Apartment befindet sich direkt gegenüber der Kampenwand-Bahn und ist ausgestattet mit hochwertigem Boxspringbett und Küchenzeile. WLAN und Parkplatz kostenlos. Kurtaxe 1,50 Euro pro Person pro Nacht. Direkt am Fuß der Burg Hohenaschau nur ein paar Schritte von der Kampenwandbahn ist das sonnige Apartment optimaler Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Radtouren. Mit der Kampenwandbahn geht es auf 1.500 m Höhe. Neben der herrlichen Kampenwand bieten sich Exkursionen durch das gesamte Chiemgau und zum Chiemsee auf die Fraueninsel oder Herreninsel an. Salzburg und der wunderschöne Königssee sind in einer guten Stunde erreichbar, die Altstädte von Rosenheim oder Wasserburg in nur kurzer Zeit. Auf der Autobahn Salzburg sind Sie in wenigen Minuten.
Aschau im Chiemgau liegt im oberbayerischen Landkreis Rosenheim mit den beiden Hauptortsteilen Aschau und Sachrang. Überragt wird der Fremdenverkehrsort von der 1669 Meter hohen Kampenwand (Chiemgauer Alpen) und dem mitten im Priental thronenden Schloss Hohenaschau aus dem 12. Jahrhundert, das sich direkt über dem Hotel Hohenaschau befindet. Aschau befindet sich zwölf Kilometer südlich von Prien am Chiemsee, 32 km südwestlich von Traunstein und 28 km nördlich von Kufstein. Die Grenze zu Österreich (Tirol) ist 12 Kilometer vom Apartment entfernt. Aschau ist Endpunkt der Chiemgaubahn von Prien am Chiemsee, überdies befindet sich im Ortsteil Hohenaschau die Talstation der Kampenwandbahn. Von der Ortsmitte etwa vier Kilometer entfernt, erstreckt sich im Nordosten das Landschaftsschutzgebiet Bärnsee. Dieser See ist umgeben von einer wilden Hochmoorlandschaft (Aschauer Fuizn) und steht aufgrund seiner artenreichen Flora und Fauna unter Landschaftsschutz. Durch das Moor führt ein Wanderweg.
