Property information

Welcome to the Fiordaliso Apartment. Located in the little village of Civiglio at an altitude of 600mtr, it is just 10min away from Como by car, and at the corner of the forest. This beautiful apartment is part of our Casa Miledù, a 200-years old rural house where we've restored some of its original features like the antique floors, the wooden doors, etc. in order to maintain the essence of the borgo. The Fiordaliso Apartment is located on the second floor. It consists of 2 connected rooms with 2 beds each, a private bathroom and an equipped kitchen. It is furnished with recovered and reused pieces of furniture and other items to support a circular economy model (one of our key values as a Social Enterprise). Please note that the reservations will go like this: Up to 2 persons: 1 room Up to 4 persons: 2 rooms In case you want to discover the beautiful surroundings of Lake Como and some of its breathtaking views, there are several hiking and biking trails nearby which will enable you to take a leap into nature. And if you, like us, love nature, trying new experiences and meeting people, let us invite you to join us in some of our activities: flower cultivation, beekeeping and the art of dry-stone walls. Neighbourhood information

The village of Civiglio is one of the few villages of Como that has conserved the characteristics of a borgo. It has not been cemented and has kept alive some of its ancient traditions, such as the collection of aromatic herbs and vegetable cultivation. This somewhat forgotten and peaceful borgo of Civiglio, comes back into the limelight when the Giro di Lombardia (Cycling competition) takes place in October, where the cyclists have to face the tough climb coming from Como. (you can cheer them up or participate!) And if you want to discover our nature, in this borgo you will find several hiking and biking trails nearby: from visiting the Chapel of the Madonna, getting to the village of Ponzate, to walking the trail of the Colme, where you can get to San Maurizio, Baita Carla and Monte Uccellera.
