The staff were incredibly kind and made us feel that nothing was too much! Nicola the manager made us feel right at home. The property was period so it may seem outdated to others but we loved the historical side of the B&B. We loved the food (both dinner and breakfast) - the burger on the menu was to die for! We were part of a wedding party and felt awful for setting their fire alarm first thing in the morning due to steaming a dress, they were so lovely about it and saw the funny side. I even had a call when I got home to learn that I had left a cheap necklace in the room and they were going to send it to me via post. I would certainly stay here again! Thank you to the team there!

It is a former pub set back from a fairly busy road. However, it has been beautifully converted into a most comfortable hotel with much thought having been put into every detail. The lounge bar is a pleasant place to sit after a day out. The dinner menu is interesting and the food is excellent. The swimming pool had closed for the winter but the grounds are pleasant. The bathroom especially was large and clean. Dinner in the pub restaurant was great. Your normal pub food but also some great specials which looked very good. My cod and chips was well cooked. It’s also next to a public path giving access to the Coast and Castles walk so ideal for getting out into the country side.
