We stayed in a double room. Quiet location. Kitchen available in the camping area. nice clean room with mozzie screen on the window and a fan. Marina at reception was really friendly and helpful. room cleaning every second day. great internet. Tours available.

This is the best place I have ever stayed in. It is not just a hotel, it is an experience. The location between the beach and the rainforest, the sea, the quality of the room and the food. And, the most important : the kindness of the staff. I had problems with the transfer reservation from Rio to Abraao, and they did everything they could to help me solve the problem.

Pousada Tropical Araçatiba is located in Praia de Araçatiba, 9 km from Bananal Bay and just 1 minute from the Beach. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. The staff could not be more accommodating. They went above and beyond at every possible turn to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. When I arrived my sugar was crashing and I was quite sick and they not only ensured I was comfortable as possible immediately but prepared food specifically for me and went to far to send a boat back to the main land to obtain a new diabetes testing kit for me. My husband and I were floored. They also made sure we had sunscreen and brought my husband’s favorite cereal in from the main land. The accommodation is perfect and comfortable and the breakfast spread is fit for a queen/king. The beaches are private and you’re not inundated with people trying to sell things, it feels like a true paradise. If you’re looking to unplug and unwind this is the place. Every interaction with staff was beyond perfect. I travel extensively, usually 40+s stays a year..and this will always stand out as an exceptional stay with extraordinarily kind people. We visited the lagoon and saw heaps of friendly fish and sea turtles swimming right along shore, just a minute walk from the accommodation. A side note, even after my husband and I had already left the property and were stranded for a ride in a different part of Brazil, the owners of this accommodation arranged transportation for us and checked in to make sure we arrived safely. Just phenomenal people. I can’t say enough good things about them and their beautiful island.

Situated in Praia de Araçatiba, 600 metres from Araçatibinha Beach, Pousada Convés - Ilha Grande features accommodation with a garden, private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. Beautiful views from the resturant and dock Room was very clean Lovely dog and cat. Staff couldn't do enough to help, service was great ( despite the language difficulties) Breakfast was great delivered to the table and plenty of options. We were lucky with amazing weather and because its winter we pretty much had the place to ourselves.

The room was cozy and simple, but sweet. There were monkeys outside our window in the morning. The hosts were charming and spoke English.

The location, the friendly and awesome staff, Rita our favorite, the owners very sweet and helpful. The food was incredible, the taste, the flavors, everything homemade and delightful.

Set in Abraão, a few steps from Abraao Beach, Pousada Rubi offers beachfront accommodation and various facilities, such as a garden. This hotel was so cozy and comfortable with very good location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast had good variety.

Pousada Albatroz is located in a quiet mountain area in Abraão - Ilha Grande. The property is decorated in a rustic tropical style. Pousada Albatroz offers different room categories. The breakfast was superb; the staff very helpful and friendly; the rooms very clean, quiet and airy; our veranda marvelous with its stupendous view of the nearby verdant mountain. The owner Bruno and his partner Leticia were very kind and welcoming. This was my second visit in two years. I hope to make it back in the near future for a third. Surrounded by tropical forest and beautiful plants at Pousada Albatroz, it is easy to believe that you have found Paradise on Earth.
