Shagir livin is a perfect little getaway near Sidemen. The perched on top of a hill, overlooking a river/rice terrace valley. I loved waking up to this view in the morning or sitting in the little pool and watching the rafts go by on the river below. At night, you fall asleep to the sounds of the jungle. The cottage is exactly like the photos, the bed is really comfortable and the shower didn't run out of hot water. The breakfast is tasty and they provide contact information for a masseuse that will come to the villa and a couple of dinner places that will deliver (I was able to arrange both on very short notice via WhatsApp). A few reviews mentioned mosquitos and bugs - I actually didn't find this to be a problem. There is a plug-in repellent in the cottage that worked very well to keep the critters away. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We loved everything about this place. The staff were super helpful. The view of Mt. Agung right in front of our room was priceless. The room was large and comfy, and the air conditioning was effective.

Words wont do justice the experience I have had in Pondok Masa Depan. There are these places that you know will forever stay in your heart, for me this was one of them! I have stayed for two nights and my stay was absolutely amazing. I felt so welcome. During my stay I have experienced an authentic Bali. Already by being within this kindhearted family; but also thanks to the experiences I had in creating the offer and the offering in the temple, with the healing water purification, the trip through the rice fields with Bagus and their amazing dog and the massage of Ayu. On top of that, Bagus is a professional in the kitchen. During my stay I enjoyed all my meals in the Bagus restaurant. The dished are true soul food. Simply amazing. Sad I had to leave, but incredibly happy I encountered this authentic healing piece of earth in Bali!

The place is like a fairytale and so magical! It was my husbands birthday so the staff organised a dinner and a cake with candles! There were so sweet people! Thank you for making us stay unforgettable!

The landscape of rice terrace and tranquil village around made our stay such a peace in mind after days on motorbike travel. The bed is such a comfy though without A/C, the room is still very airy and we absolutely had good sleep without it. I am so happy I've booked this place via just looking some online photos which can't tell how amazing the lodge is in real life.TranYoung couple

A little remote (hence don’t be suprised about the insects as you are in the nature) but if like remote it will be petfect for you. It's absolutely beautful - with stunning views of the rice terraces and fields. A truly peaceful area. We arranged a hike through the hotel to a temple and our guide Ketut was brilliant, explaining crops and introducing us to all the farmers we met. Delicious breakfast and great food in the rseaturant - with those incredible views. We only jad 1 night here and wished we could have stayed for longer.

The maintenance of the grounds was fantastic. The lodges were nicely situated, furnished and decorated. No noisy a/c, just a fan which was perfectly adequate. The staff were gorgeous. so friendly, helpful and always smiling. As you can tell, we loved it.
