- gorgeous cottage - wonderful rustic feel , in the best way - fireplace was such a pleasure to keep us warm in winter along with electric blankets . The host also provided us with electric heaters but that wasn’t really necessary in the end . - the animals ! Just wonderful - the host was very helpful for anything we needed - the location is very close to the centre in a car ( less than 10 minutes )

Truly a little haven in charming Franschhoek. The staff were also lovely, making sure we were looked after. Shout out to the manager, Clifford, who made sure our stay was comfortable and memorable.

Natasha was a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome, and even assisted us shuttling between our lodge and the main residence.

The room was smaller than I expected, and the bathroom configuration wasn't practical, NO bath...?

Very comfortable bed and aircon and log fire available dependent on the temperature. Great breakfast in the main lodge. No restaurant - but a short drive to the excellent restaurant Arkeste. Tea and coffee in the room, and microwave and fridge - so you could self-cater. Cute drive through a mini-safari to get to the room.AlisonYoung couple
